Jack Nicholson, don’t know why but there is just something about him.

Blasphemy!

I don’t despise any actor or actress - what’ve they ever done to me, etc., etc. - but hmmm… have to mention I don’t really get Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler’s appeal. Neither have ever done anything that interests me, or that seems worth the hype. They seem like very talented businessmen/self-promoters, but as actors or even comedians I’m not really convinced. Admittedly I haven’t sat down with much of their output, but walking past while housemates/friends watch Happy Gilmore or Dodgeball doesn’t sway me.

Topic title is a bit heavy alright, but actors I don’t like ...

Kurt Russell without a doubt. He ruins just about anything he’s featured in.
And James Stewart. My god is he an irritating sap.

To me there’s something about Tom Cruise that has me think he overacts everything.
The more intense a scene he has to play, the more his own emotional havoc emerges
and ruins everything. It seems like he’s trying too hard and I just hate it.

Actors/actresses I despise:

For starters, the many backlink-leeches that are constantly flooding these topics, pretending to be contributing forumers.

They don’t count as actors.

Anyway, more recently, I rediscovered my loathing of the twins in the Harry Potter movies. I’ve never seen them in any other movies, but they infuriate me every time I see a new Harry Potter film.

They don’t count as actors.

Well, they DO act.
The reason they get deleted and you don’t (Mr. Phuket) is that you actually contribute something to the forum. wink

As for the Potter twins: I don’t blame the actors but they never got that part of the Potter books done right. That whole family seems cobbled together from random redheads…

I watched a movie with Isla Fisher in over the weekend, Confessions of a Shopaholic. Awful movie and awful actress.

Renee Zellweger, she needs to spit out that sour lemon.

Despise is a very strong word. I don’t think I care enough to feel that strongly about it.
But Tom Cruise mildly irritates me. I think it’s that smirk on his face

Totally agree with Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher. A little surprised by the hate for Kurt Russel though. I’ve always liked the guy.

- Ashton Kutcher (he’s famous why?)
- Amanda Bynes (she’s famous why?)
- Sean Connery (since League of Extraordinary Gents, where he essentially took an ensemble movie and made it all about him)
- Dolf Ludgren
- Any former wrestler
