hey guys, i was wondering what is the most hilarious movie ever?? one of the most hilarious movies for me is Postal. Has anyone seen it?? Its wickedly crazy!! It was my first time watchin this movie since I got the movie on DVD when it came out 8/26, but I checked out the reviews on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Postal-UnRated-Erick-Avari/dp/B0019BI12I/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1216752192&sr=8-1
and the people were sayin that it was pretty good and since I watched the trailers on the imeem.com/postalthemovie page and it looked good, i thought why not get it. i mean some people don’t like this type of humor but it didn’t really bother me. but what did you guys think of this movie? hit or bust? if you don’t like it, what do you guys think is the most hilarious movie ever?

You sound suspiciously like a marketing plant Joe, but I’ll bite:

A Fish Called Wanda
The Big Lebowski
Ghostbusters
This is Spinal Tap
Showgirls
The Life of Brain

On topic: Dr. Strangelove remains my favorite comedy.

Yep, Planty Mc Plant Plant it seems.

Flying High [ or Airplane! for you Yanks ] tops my list, then of course, the almighty Ghostbusters.

You guys are such cynics. Joe might have just really really liked ‘Postal’.  It’s not unheard of for an Uwe Boll flm. Oh, hang on…. <:S

I’d agree with ‘Bringing Up Baby’ - that film’s timeless. And while I can’t say that everyone would find it the funniest film ever, I really love ‘Freebie & The Bean’.

A Fish Called Wanda is such a good call. I haven’t seen it for years and need to check it out again. Have you ever seen a film you loved when you were younger, gone and seen it again and thought “crap, how did i ever like that?”

I’d go with DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS and agree with A FISH CALLED WANDA although I haven’t seen either in years!

Ah, I have fond memories about “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”. Surviving it is amongst them.

It screened in a big cinema, with a much smaller venue on top of it. The smaller venue played “Care Bears 3”, but a whole school was visiting so they switched screens. Kiddies below in the big hall, me and a few other people in the smaller room above.

I enjoyed the movie and left the cinema satisfied. Less than an hour later, the floor between the two cinemas collapsed. Thank God nobody was in either of the two venues, top or bottom: if it had happened an hour earlier the whole cinema I was in would have fallen 30 ft down on top of hundreds of children…

Duck Soup could be my fave. I’d also add some of the other Marx movies, the Python movies, Airplane!, This Is Spinal Tap, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, various works of Laurel & Hardy, The Naked Gun trilogy (despite some reservations about the sequels, although there are a surprizing amount of cracking moments in the second one, and a couple of very funny scenes in the third), some of the Austin Powers films (mainly the Dr. Evil scenes) and Waynes World for that matter, Cannibal! The Musical (some very funny stuff in Parker & Stones’ South Park: BL&U and Team America too), Anchorman…probably a lot more I can’t think of right now.
