something similar to these cool heroes but maybe not as popular trying to look for some hidden gems - I’ve always been into these type of scifi action heroes with badass helmets and armor - even if it’s an indie film i’d love to be directed to it anyone know of some DVDs or shorts?

Not particularly old but very funny: Miike Takashi’s “Yatterman” .
He laso made a good spoof of the whole genre with “Zebraman” and “Zebraman 2”.
