I didn’t see a thread for suggestions.  Anyway, I wonder if you could add a tool that notifies you by e-mail when a comment posted on the main page is responded to?  So if I post a comment on an article, I could be notified of any other comments on that article.  Not unlike the notification from the board when a topic gets a new reply.

That’s not a bad idea…

Two good ideas, actually: starting this thread is another one. Rest assured we’ll be monitoring this topic.

Okay, weird Amazon “related items” search doesn’t work very well at all.

Yeah, we’re working on it ... Amazon’s system is surprisingly grumpy.

I’ve been pretty happy with the web site since the big switcheroo a while back. One thing I noticed today, however, is that the TOM didn’t get a spot in either “Reviews” or “News”. My landing page is the “News” and I immediately open “Reviews” in a second TAB. I skim down each page, opening what looks good in new TABs, until I get to where I’m caught up.

I would have missed today’s wonderful TOM if I didn’t see a comment for it ... which leads to my only wish for improvement: a way to “See More ...” comments. Maybe I’m missing it but it seems like once a comment rolls off the front page there’s no way to see that it ever happened unless you stumble upon it in an article. I love the comments here ... for the most part ... it’s the community part of the site (which the Forum has just never been, for me. It’s feels like posting into a void.)

Please put those silly “At Amazon” and “You might also like” turds on the post pages if you must, NOT on the front pages. They might work for people who Google land, but they are a major distraction for daily readers.

I mean, FIVE images for things “that I might like” all larger than the image for an original item? WTF? Those silly “At Amazon” and “You might also like” turds RARELY relate to the original item. They’re laughably bad, really.

Maybe you never visit http://twitchfilm.net/news/ or http://twitchfilm.net/reviews/.
