What’s with the awful ‘letterbox’ version rubbish?
So you can have a perfectly fine 16:9 full frame version (I expect the proper OAR given as this was probably a straght to DVD movie anyway) or a cruddy letterbox version which simply hacks off huge portions of top and bottom information with 2 black bars to no other effect at all?
Despite the appearances and being shot in HD, the director of photograhy, Marc Windon, intended and framed it for 2.35 aspect ratio. Letterbox 2.35 is the correct aspect ratio and looks much better such as (and masks the low budget flaws).
