Saw a matinee show last weekend. It was entertaining yet a bit underwhelming. The movie aimed to be an intelligent SciFi but never realized its full potential. It had a few interesting twists and a pretty slick ending. Ben Foster is quite solid and reliable as usual. Dennis Quaid was a bit hammy and his character wasn’t much different from the one in GI Joe:Rise of the Cobra - I’m ashamed to admit seeing it. The action scenes were well-made and executed but unfortunately far and few. Overall, worth the price admission of a matinee but no more.
