I’ve already complained about the readability of white text on black background. Now I’m going to complain about the quote/unquote “search” whateverthefuckitis. WTF? A Flash app? Doesn’t everybody block Flash?
So I enable the search flash app, type in “In Love We Trust”, shit flies around and I see In Love We Trust highlighted amongst a bunch of other words so I click on it and ... gaaaaaarrrrhhhh fuck. WTF? I’m back to point zero. Actually I’m less than zero because I can’t even highlight what’s already in the search field in order to paste my search terms in there again. So I just paste anyway and it somehow replaces what’s there. Nice UI. Shit flies around. My search words are highlighted, but “fool me once” ... I see there’s some TWO, freaking TWO bits of info below the beautiful flying box-o-words. I right click on one of them AS EVERY GOOD SEARCHPERSON DOES to whip this blind link open in a new tab and ... I can zoom in on the fucking thing. WTFF?
I click “all results”. Do I really need to comment?
And. And. And. This other world I’m transported to has a whole bunch of results for “In Love We Trust”. You have to do the search to see them. Every ... I’m not sure what ... but, like every archive page that ever used the masthead for “In Love We Trust” is listed as a result.
It kinda works sometimes every once in a while but geez, the whole experience is a profound icky. Will one of you guys change it for me?
